Hello dear friends and family. I am so sorry for the length of time between posts - things have been so crazy (and not in a good way). Life stresses have taken over and I find I am having very little time to play and/or be creative. I am truly hoping to change that this weekend.

I love to look at other people's blogs. I am constantly inspired and amazed. My only frustration is when I go to a special blog that is suppose to have numerous links to other scrapbook and stamping blogs and it is no longer there or has not been updated for months. So....I have decided to take on a new challenge.

I completed 8 pages yesterday and our scrapbook event (that never happens!). I had an absolutely fabulous time! I will take pictures later to day and get them posted. Have a super morning!
For over a year I have wanted to design a more creative header. Something I could identify as me and keep for an extended period of time. I have practiced, redone and changed my header more times than I can count. Now....I can finally say I have made one I want to keep for awhile. Tell me - can you tell I love dragonflies?
I am also working on putting together a great blog candy for my 45,000 hit mark. Stay tuned, I should have it posted in the next couple of days. I will be scrapbooking all day Saturday (naturally) and will have some new pages to share with everyone on Sunday.

Well I did manage to get a few pages done of our new grasnddaughter, Bridget. I can now say her book is officially started. I have taken so many photos that I should probably just buy a photo album and place them all in that (but that's not as much fun).
This first page is called OUR NEW DAUGHTER - I used 4 pictures of her contraction monitor and the a picture of their new addition. I envisioned something different in my head - so it didn't turn out exactly how I wanted - but, live and learn - right?
Next up is a page of Michael with Bridget. She wasn't even minutes old and he started calling her his PRECIOUS LITTLE MUNCHKIN. I know that had to be a title for the page.
Finally I have another page of Bridget and her parents - simply titled ANGEL.
I just sent some new photos off to Costco of Bridget and Michael - and hope to scrapbook them next week. Michael is always teasing me that my pages always include Tiel and the kids and he really wanted some too. So I am making an extra effort to include him in as many as I can! I captured this one the Sunday after se was born while they were sleeping. It is one of my favorites :)
This week I also noticed my blog counter is almost at 45,000 hits. So in the next few days - I am going to post some blog candy to celebrate. Check back to see what goodies I will have!

I also wanted to share a scrapbook mini album I did of my husband and I over the years. It's kind of nice to have a small one to just keep set out :)
I have really enjoyed making these little albums - they are so versatile and absolutely great for gifts!
